Welcome!
Christmas is such a fantastic time of year when you have children. There’s nothing quite like the sight of a child’s bright eyes on Christmas Eve!
But it can be hard work, exhausting and stressful too. This Christmas you can check out dozens of places to go and things to do with your children.
And there are competitions to win tickets to the Wizard of Oz panto at The Royal And Derngate in Northampton, tickets the NIA in Birmingham to see CBeebies Live, and for any High School Musicalfans we have High School Musical bears to win from Build A Bear Workshop in Milton Keynes.
Hope your childmag website and CHILD magazine helps you enjoy this festive season.
Merry Christmas from everyone at CHILD!

Welcome to the Child magazine website – perfect for parents of children in Northamptonshire and beyond.
Child magazine was started in 2003 by two local mums who wanted to make a difference.
Now five years on, it is still owned and run by one of its founders, Theresa Donaghue, mum to three children aged 7, 10, and 13 and has a readership estimated to be over 20,000 for each issue.
www.childmag.co.uk aims to help parents in the difficult task of bringing up children – by giving you local information on where to go and what you can do with your children, as well as useful hints, tips and advice from the experts.
You can download one of the many features that have appeared in Child Magazine in recent issues, or check out the fantastic guide to children’s parties in the area.
If you are looking for a toddler group to take your little one along to you can check out the Toddler Directory and there is the chance to try your luck – and enter a competition!
So if you like what you see – tell your friends, and if you don’t – tell us, and why!
Child Magazine has become a respected local magazine enjoyed by thousands of families every issue – and we hope the website will reach even more people.
So we hope you find the childmag website as useful as the magazine, and please send us your thoughts, pictures and letters.
